Convergence Station is the third permanent exhibition created by Meow Wolf.[1] It is their largest location at approximately 90,000 square feet. It is located in Denver, Colorado. Convergence Station is housed in a unique, five story, triangular-shaped building in the gap between three bridges. It includes the main exhibit, a music venue, a cafeteria, and a bar.
Meow Wolf strongly recommends using public transportation. The exhibit is just a five minute walk from RTD's Empower Field at Mile High Station. There is also a paid parking lot that is unavailable on game days at the stadium.
The Story of Convergence Station is a science fiction epic that you can discover through interaction. Three decades ago, an event called the Convergence occurred, a cosmic event that ripped pieces from four different planets, bringing those fragments together and pulling floods of people from their homes, leaving them with only their memories and a new, converged world to navigate. On your journey, you’ll encounter exotic plants, otherworldly crystals, peculiar creatures, and possibly a few secrets. From Pizza Pals to vending machines that can sass talk, you’re in for a wild ride. Just make sure to keep track of memories.
You may want to purchase a QPASS ($3) with your ticket or at the information desk if you want to follow the story. The QPASS helps you to collect MEMs. Although not necessary to enjoy the exhibit, you will need one if you choose to try and unravel the story.
Although this world isn't the same as the other Meow Wolf locations, hidden details and plots show that they do happen in the same multiverse. The VOCS phone system connects the worlds of Convergence Station to each other and to other Meow Wolf exhibits.
History[]
Kaleidoscape opened in 2019 as the first Meow Wolf attraction in Denver. It was their first major project outside of New Mexico and served as a preview of the upcoming "Meow Wolf Denver". Meow Wolf described the new building's unusual shape as a "sleepy pizza."[3] Convergence Station was slated to open in 2020, but pandemic-related delays pushed back its opening until 2021, after Omega Mart.[4][5][6][7]

Plot[]
Main article: The Convergence (event)
Around three decades ago, a cosmic accident happened that changed the fates of planets and people alike. The Convergence, this destructive event, ripped pieces away from four unsuspecting planets, taking them and everything (and everyone) on them and converging them. The citizens of Eemia, Ossuary, Numina, and Immensity were thrust into a new and unknown world. This new realm, called Convergence, left people with nothing but the memories of past lives, making them all the more valuable. In fact, Convergence developed an entirely new currency based around memories, using QPASS cards to spend and hold these memories, called MEMs. QPASSes contain a special crystal called Oss, a rock with the ability to conduct and hold memories. The Exchange opened, a volunteer-run bank that had started as a saloon that specialized in trading memories. The exchange of memories began as a way to help people find their lost memories and share new ones, but MEMs started to become even more valuable as “Memory Storms” stole the memories of more and more people. These memory storms, caused by psychic aftershock, take and scatter the memories of all those hit. QDOT (Quantum Department of Transportation) has been helping with the aftermath of these events.
QDOT has started to open endpoints in different worlds, allowing the citizens of Convergence to visit. The latest? Earth’s first QDOT station, in Denver, Colorado. Denver has a tether to the convergence, something left behind, which allows for the transport to and from. Alongside this tether, QDOT also uses TRAM technology (Tave Route Access Mechanism) to transport to and from Denver and Convergence, and other places within the multiverse. QDOT is led by a council of conductors, who control every decision and aspect of the department, along with the Superconductor General Oleander. General Oleander is a philosopher and respected man, but still answers to the council at the end of the day.
QDOT’s interest with Convergence doesn’t stop at transport stations, however. Many scientists were and have been interested in everything about this anomaly, the only convergence that somehow remained stable. Thanks to QDOT technology, scientists were able to further stabilize Convergence and prevent it from a quick end, working in mere hours. QDOT credits lots of this victory to General Oleander. The department has also taken a keen interest in memory storms and their cause, led by the director of the Department for Mnemonic Research, Julius Finch, and Senior Memory Researcher, Chya.
But QDOT may not have as noble of intentions as it seems. They soon plan to make The Last Stop. Described by General Oleander as an “infinite doorway” and our “cosmic destiny”, QDOT says the last stop will provide instant transport to anywhere in the multiverse. You, as the “traveler” must help a QDOT whistleblower track down memories of the "forgotten four" before all is forgotten.
